Barbara Mowry, President and CEO
Barbara Mowry joined Silver Creek Systems as President and CEO in 2003. She is an experienced executive, having served as an officer in two Fortune 500 companies, and as an intrapreneur and entrepreneur. She has led companies through rapid growth, bought and sold companies, and guided international expansion. Spearheading the launch of new products, patented technology and developing innovative solutions that focus on customer and business success has kept her at the forefront of the technology industry.
Prior to Silver Creek Systems she served as Chairman and CEO at Requisite Technology, Sr. VP Customer Satisfaction and ran the new products division of Comcast (TCI), founder and CEO of the Mowry Company, and as an officer of United Airlines.
She serves on the Board of Directors of Gaiam (NASDAQ-GAIA), is a Director of the Denver Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, served as a judge at the Ernst and Young World Entrepreneur of the Year Awards in 2005 and is a member of the Board of Overseers of the Carlson School at the University of Minnesota and of the Leeds School at the University of Colorado.
Barbara has a bachelor's degree from Miami University, Oxford Ohio, and an MBA from the University of Minnesota.
Ed Green, Chief Technology Officer
An industry veteran with a number of successful start-up companies and executive research and development positions to his credit, Ed leads the ongoing technology vision for Silver Creek. With more than 30 years of experience prior to joining Silver Creek, Ed was most recently running a company that he founded, Green Acres Technology consultancy. Prior to Green Acres, Ed was the VP of Development and CEO at Cadis, Inc., a parts and products parametric search engine company. At Cadis, Ed lead the product architecture development for one of the first parametric search engines. Before Cadis, Ed was a founder of GrafTek, a solids modeling CAD/CAM company.
In addition to his commercial successes, Ed also held prestigious research positions including a post-PhD position at the Hauptman Institute in Buffalo, New York, where he worked directly with Nobel Laureate Herbert A. Hauptman. Ed holds a bachelor's degree in Physics and Biology from the University of Colorado and a joint Ph.D. in Physics from University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Jim Wambach, Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Business Development
Jim Wambach is responsible for leading the company's worldwide sales and market growth initiatives. Jim has more than 25 years of enterprise software sales and executive sales management experience where he has been instrumental in structuring and managing multi-tiered sales organizations.
Before joining Silver Creek, Jim was the VP of Worldwide Sales at Edify Corporation where he led sales growth and market expansion. Prior to Edify, Jim was President and CEO of Sychron Inc., where he provided the strategic vision and operational leadership to transform this R&D-focused organization into a commercially viable software company. Jim has also provided executive sales and general management leadership for industry leading software companies including Oracle, Sybase and Forte.
Jim Wambach holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Ohio State University.
Martin Boyd, Vice President of Marketing
Martin Boyd has over fifteen years experience in Product Management, Product Marketing and Marketing Communications for enterprise software companies. Prior to joining Silver Creek, Martin was Marketing Director at Ariba where he drove marketing communications and led the successful repositioning of the company. Prior to this, Martin was the product marketing lead for several products including the flagship product Ariba Buyer, and Ariba’s marketplace products.
Before Ariba, Martin held various senior marketing and product management roles at Oracle dealing with the management of text, rich media and XML in the database. Earlier in his career, Martin held key marketing and business development roles at Lucas Management Systems, Decisis and IBM.
Martin holds a masters degree in Engineering from Strathclyde University.
Mark Kreider, Vice President of Engineering
Mark Kreider has more than two decades of professional experience in software development management, including responsibilities for the delivery of enterprise-scale systems, managing engineering teams, and developing software architectures. Before joining Silver Creek, Mark spent several years in software product management, most recently with Sopheon Corporation, as the Director of new product development for the company's Knowledge Management Products group.
Prior to Sopheon, Mark was the Director of Engineering for front-office products at the Baan Company. Baan had acquired Antalys, Inc., where Mark was the Director of Engineering for product configuration solutions. For the first 11 years of his professional career, Mark directed the development of professional video equipment at AMPEX Corporation.
Mark earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, majoring in both Computer Science and Math, at Colorado State University.
Todd Blackmon, Vice President of Customer Solutions
Todd Blackmon has more than 15 years of experience in professional services and customer solutions. Before joining Silver Creek, Todd was the VP of Operations at CreekPath Systems where he successfully supported enterprise customers while dramatically reducing implementation times and operating costs, along with streamlining the training function.
Prior to CreekPath Systems, Todd held several executive positions with Vignette Corporation, where he focused on professional services to support the customers’ ongoing experience. He also held senior positions with Complete Business Solutions and Electronic Data Systems (EDS).
Todd holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and Operations Management, from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Vijay Iyer, Vice President of Strategic Alliances
Vijay Iyer brings more than 20 years of experience in business development and sales to the Silver Creek Systems team where he focuses on strategic partnership development.
Iyer served most recently as the vice president of Business Development at ArcSight, Inc., a global leader in Enterprise Security Management (ESM) software. Previously Iyer held sales, sales management and business development executive roles at Sun Microsystems, BEA, Informix, Portal Software and Intacct Corporation. At Portal Software, Iyer also served as vice president of market development helping with the strategy and execution of the company's transition from ISP market to mobile wireless, broadband and content markets. Iyer's international experience includes a year in Japan as general manager of Portal's Japan operations.
Vijay holds a master's degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a bachelor's tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai.
